With heavy hearts but grateful spirits, we celebrate the life of Sis. Ruth Bryan, a remarkable matriarch of the Open Bible Standard Churches of Trinidad and Tobago. Sis. Bryan transitioned into eternity on November 21, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, dedication, and leadership.
Together with her husband, Dr. Donald Bryan, she played an instrumental role in the establishment and growth of the Open Bible ministry in Trinidad and Tobago from 1956 to 1970. Sis. Bryan was a devoted missionary, teacher, and leader. She led the Women’s World Fellowship, taught Sunday School and Bible classes, and ministered across the Organization, all while raising six children.
Her impact reached far and wide, as her faith and leadership shaped and inspired countless lives. Sis. Ruth Bryan’s legacy of love, devotion, and service to the Lord will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
